'Meccano Mind', not because Jan views the end
product of all the hours jamming with the
machines as a precisely built, utilitarian model
reflecting his precision neurochemistry, but
because when he was a kid he used to build
scatty, abstract meccano forms which none of
the other kids could see the purpose of.
