Aiming to muscle out the long-standing Giant New Years Eve event that was ubiquitous in Downtown LA when it came time for the ball to drop, this inaugural New Year's Eve party was developed by the crew behind some of LA's hippest parties, and it shows. The event is full of hipster-meets-mainstream crossover favorites, like naughty boys 2 Live Crew and bad girl, electro-maven Peaches.

The premise is simple: gather thousands of people to dance. Sure, there's a lot of talent in the line-up, but it mainly boasts DJs of the LA party circuit. The lineup rests mainly on DJ sets as opposed to live performance, and the highlight of those is sure to be French DJ duo Justice. Though they won't be playing their break-out hit "D.A.N.C.E.," someone else is sure to. Also, don't miss Peaches performing her bawdy beats with the 2 Live Crew dancers in tow. 10, 9, 8... 3, 2, 1....
