    The Scandinavian metal trio Sinergy comprised ex-Dimmu Borgir frontwoman Kim Goss, Children of Bodom guitarist Alexi Laiho and drummer Jesper Strömblad, also a member of In Flames. Their British metal-styled debut LP Beware the Heavens was released in 1999. To Hell and Back followed a year later. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
