Puerto Rican rock foursome Puya was formed in the early '90s. After playing covers at San Juan's club circuit, the band moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL, looking for a record deal. That opportunity came after meeting Latin rock producer Gustavo Santaolalla, soon, signing up to MCA.
