McG directs Ah-nuld-less sequel
Director McG, known for directing the eps of teen suds-er The OC as well as the glossy big screen version of Charlie's Angels and its equally glossy sequel, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, will direct the fourth installment of The Terminator series, titled Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. This sequel follows up 2003's Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. Rise is presumably the last film of the series to feature Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has said "hasta la vista" to his most famous film role in favor of being California's "Governator." It'll be hard to imagine a Terminator films sans the Gov, but we're confident in McG's abilities to make the storyline gel and to keep diehards interested in what's next for John Connor.
This edition will feature a host of new actors, including the hotter-than-hot Christian Bale, who will reprise his role as Batman in The Dark Knight this summer, Moon Bloodgood and Anton Yelchin are all set to star.
