David Byrne has revealed some rather surprising news: his first collaboration with Brian Eno in almost 30 years. (The pair's popular My Life in the Bush of Ghosts LP came out 27 years ago.) The as-yet-untitled project is expected before the end of the year through Nonesuch.
"Brian had written a lot of music but needed some words, which I know how to do," Byrne explained to the New York Daily News. "What's it sound like? Electronic gospel. That's all I'm saying."
Byrne also told NME.com that he's working on music with Fatboy Slim—songs that'll be done "sometime." According to The Daily Swarm, a Byrne/Eno tour featuring "at least 40-percent Eno-era Talking Heads material" may also touch down sometime this year.
