Or at least his alter ego Madea does
The latest film is Tyler Perry's Madea Goes To Jail and will feature former Cosby Kid, Keshia Knight Pulliam, who warmed our hearts as Rudy, the youngest of the Cosby brood on the beloved 80s-era sitcom The Cosby Show.
In this big screen comedy, Madea, whom Perry portrays himself thanks to a fat suit and curly gray wig, somehow ends up in jail and befriends a hooker named Candy, played by the all-grown-up Pulliam, who is being stalked by a fellow inmate dubbed Big Sal. If past Perry/Madea films are any indication, we wouldn't put it past Madea to try and save the day and reform her new friend Candy.
Filming begins in Atlanta, the familiar environs for Perry's films, in May, with Perry eyeing a 2009 release date. Perry also keeps increasingly busy with his TBS comedy series, House Of Payne, which Pulliam recently starred in.
