    Longtime Bowie Bootleg Gets an Official Release

    Ziggy played guitar, don't you know


    A heavily-bootlegged stop of David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust tour is finally being released in CD and double LP formats on June 30. Recorded in Santa Monica, CA, in 1972, the show was the first Bowie concert to be broadcasted on FM radio stations in the U.S.

    "I can tell that I'm totally into being Ziggy by this stage of our touring," Bowie said in a statement. "It's no longer an act; I am him."
