An anonymous memorabilia collector has found a 40-year-old Jimi Hendrix sex tape, and sold the rights to Vivid Entertainment. The major porn company plans on releasing a DVD of the film featuring commentary tracks from such noted groupies as Cynthia Plaster Caster (one of two brunettes in the video) and Pamela Des Barres.
"This new movie shows that Jimi Hendrix could have been as great a porn star as he was a rock star," Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch said in a statement, mentioning that the movie will be simply called Jimi Hendrix: The Sex Tape. "He could clearly play more than his guitar."

Update: May 6, 2008: Hendrix's brother Leon, Experience Hendrix - the company who runs the late star's enterprises, and even a former girlfriend all claim the tape is a fake.
