The film will be shot over a period of eight weeks in Scotland and England. The original film's leading ladies, Shauna MacDonald and Natalie Mendoza will reprise their roles are the terrorized victims. The script sends the sole survivor back into the dark, bloody recesses of the caves from which she escaped to try and locate her doomed and dead friends. Director Neil Marshall will not be directing this time out, but he will fill the producer role.
