What's with all these celeb-party-girl appearances on popular TV shows? First, the gossip tabloids' favorite train wreck, Britney Spears, landed a guest spot on How I Met Your Mother. Now, part-time actress, full-time partier Lindsay Lohan will appear on Ugly Betty.

Li Lo, as she has been affectionately dubbed by the media that follows her every move, will appear on the show's season finale on May 22. Rumor has it she will portray a character who is befriended by America Ferrera, who plays the title character. Additionally, it's reported that Lohan will appear in five more episodes in the Fall, during the show's third season.

Other fashionable stars who've appeared on the series include British glamazon and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham as well as fiery-tempered, cell phone-throwing model Naomi Campbell. Will this guest turn do wonders for Lohan's floundering film career, since she gets more publicity for her off-screen antics than she does for her actual roles? Time will tell. But in the meantime, tune in to see Lohan flash her, ahem, comic chops, which we haven't seen since her last gig hosting Saturday Night Live.
