    Accept "jobs" in dark comedy

Joe Pantoliano, Ron Perlman, Taryn Manning and Patrick Flueger have all accepted new jobs. That is, the actors have signed on to star in the upcoming dark comedy, The Job.

The film is based on a 1998 play by Shem Bitterman about a man named Bubba (Flueger), who just wants to find a job and marry his girl. Manning will play the object of Bubba's affections, with Perlman as a drifter Bubba meets. Pantoliano will play an employment agent who hires Bubba for work. Shortly after taking the job, Bubba finds he is not quite up to snuff for this type of employment.

The film was adapted by Bitterman and just began production in Detroit.
