    Best-of collections are not the best way to experience album-oriented artists like Ian & Sylvia. And this 12-song anthology of their '60s Vanguard work is not the most extensive retrospective of that era; Greatest Hits is considerably lengthier. Best of Ian & Sylvia does however include several of their best and most famous originals ("You Were on My Mind" and "Four String Winds") and covers ("24 Hours from Tulsa," "Early Morning Rain," and "Changes"). ~ Richie Unterberger, All Music Guide
