    Produced by the Alchemist, "Keep It Thoro" was the lead single from Prodigy's debut solo album, HNIC. Relative to the normally gloomy style of Prodigy -- ominous production and bleak rhymes -- this track is surprisingly chipper, with the Mobb Deep member taking a boisterous approach, much in the tradition of East Coast rap. Similarly, the Alchmist's beats are fairly exuberant, making this more of a club track than the sort of somber poetics that fill the album and most of Prodigy's work with Mobb Deep. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
