    All Music Guide Review

"Silent Night" may arguably be the most treasured holiday song of the late 20th century. And if not, it's definitely in the running. Silent Nights certainly acknowledges this, offering an entire disc of "Silent Night" renditions performed by a wide variety of performers: everyone from the Vienna Choir Boys and the Canadian Brass to the Philadelphia Orchestra and Chorus and Sergio Franchi. The music is primarily classical -- no Bing Crosby here. It's perhaps most interesting to see how each respective performer approaches the all-time favorite. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
