Bootylicious is just that, a 2002 compilation from Little Joe that throws together 15 raunchy dance-rap singles that have one thing in mind (and sometimes two). As one can expect from a label based in Florida, the same state that produced this type of thing in droves during the latter part of the '80s and the duration of the '90s, plenty of the selections come from the likes of 2 Live Crew ("Me So Horny," "Pop the P*ssy"), Luke ("I Wanna Rock"), and Poison Clan ("Shake What Your Mama Gave Ya"). Other, less notable Floridians -- Prince Rahiem, Clay D, Afro Rican, Bust Down -- pitch in as well. The mold is broken slightly with the inclusion of AMG's "Bitch Betta Have My Money," Naughty by Nature's "OPP," and Chubb Rock's "Treat 'em Right"; none of these songs have bass as low and rhymes as dirty as their Southern counterparts. [Also included is a random bonus disc from the warehouse of Lil Joe Records.] ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
