    Combining the powers of two popular Australian DJs for one mix collection, Central Energy 10 is a winner. Alex K concentrates on the harder-edged material, pumping out festival-friendly anthems like "Zombie Nation" for an intense dance experience. Goodyear takes a different approach, concentrating more on the clipped beats and liquid synths of European techno for a more funk-based experience. In fact, Goodyear explores his mix with much more variety and choices than Alex K, splashing disco and '80s synth pop into the mix and even stopping everything for the emotional first verse of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's "Power of Love" toward the end. Both mixes are quite good, but Goodyear steals the show with his recognizable remixes and frantic beats. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
