Any CD that benefits Planned Parenthood and the Northwest AIDS Foundation warrants existence, even if the contributing artists were Menudo, Milli Vanilli, and Michael Jacko. But as it happens, this raw, pumping CD features suped-up bashes by Northwest underground vets such as the Fastbacks, Young Fresh Fellows, Mudhoney, Flop, and the Walkabouts. This also stretches to encompass the sweetness of the Spinanes, the garage din of the Picketts and the Minus 5, the trashy Girl Trouble, Tad, Built to Spill, Love Battery, Gas Huffer, a spoof of supermodels by the Presidents of the United States of America, and others.
