Billboard Family Christmas Classics contains ten songs, all from different genres but all designed to appeal to a broad audience. That means novelties like "The Chipmunk Song" sit next to such classics as Burl Ives' "Holly Jolly Christmas" and Bing Crosby's "White Christmas," but overall, the classics (including Vince Guaraldi's "Christmas Time Is Here," Jimmy Durante's "Frosty the Snowman" and Judy Garland's "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas") outweigh the fluff by a margin of nine to one, making this an excellent choice for the budget-minded Christmas consumer. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
