Submit Your ReviewLike its predecessors, Classic Alternatives, Vol. 3 is concerned with dance-oriented new wave and late-'80s alternative, containing songs by Killing Joke ("Love Like Blood"), Romeo Void ("Girl in Trouble (Is a Temporary Thing)"), Pete Shelley ("Homosapien") and the Stone Roses ("Fools Gold"). Often, these songs are presented in extended 12-inch mixes, which is of considerable interest to collectors. It also remains an entertaining listen for casual fans, even if it's quite jarring to hear the Church's lovely, ethereal "Under the Milky Way" thrown into the middle of this beat-heavy disc. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
