Reflections is deceptive collection of early Neil Diamond from Madacy; it's really just a two-fer featuring 1968's Velvet Gloves and Spit and 1973's Rainbow. Spit is the better of the two, boasting three of his best tracks, "Shiloh," "Brooklyn Roads," and "Two-Bit Manchild," while Rainbow is a mediocre set of covers. Both discs are the original MCA releases and are not remastered. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide
