    All Music Guide Review

The reggae-infused soundtrack for the tropical Pierce Brosnan crime caper After the Sunset relies heavily on the island-based soca of Rupee, whose international hit "Tempted to Touch" had been out for two years already; the infectious "Cobrastyle" by Nordic dub-slingers the Teddybears STHLM; as well as classic tracks by Dawn Penn, Junior Marvin, and Shaggy. It's an amiable jaunt through the inlets of the Caribbean and a solid collection of party starters that will turn any listener's basement into a sweaty cabana-club bash. A portion of the proceeds from the soundtrack go to the Caribbean Tourism Organization Relief Fund in the wake of the devastating 2004 hurricanes Frances, Ivan, and Jeanne. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide
