There had never been a concert event of its magnitude -- it was 1985 and the biggest names in music are catpured performing live from two continents to a television audience of over 1.5 billion. Now you can own over 10 hours of Live Aid performances thanks to this four-DVD box, which features sets by U2, the Pretenders, Queen, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, The Who, Judas Priest, Duran Duran, and many others. Royalties will benefit Band Aid Trust, which continues to provide direct hunger relief in Africa. Includes as a bonus feature the documentary Food, Trucks & Rock 'N' Roll, highlighting Band Aid, USA For Africa, and Live Aid.

    This was never intended to be released, or even recorded, but fortunately the tapes were in the archives, and Sir Bob Geldolf contacted all the parties to make this historic event available in advance of its 20th anniversary.
