    Country Cares For Kids: A Holiday Album is a charity record comprised of 14 tracks from contemporary country artists, plus Bob Carlisle. Almost all of the record is comprised of Christmas songs, with the exception of Bob Carlisle's "Butterfly Kisses." Almost of the album is comprised of previously released material, including Bob Carlisle's "Butterfly Kisses." That means there isn't much here for collectors, but the compilers of Country Cares for Kids have their hearts in the right place, and fans of polished contemporary country-pop will find that A Holiday Album is a reasonably entertaining seasonal listen. Although they may wonder what Bob Carlisle's impassioned tribute to Michael Bolton is doing among all the country-pop Christmas tunes. ~ Thom Owens, All Music Guide
