The 2005 reissue of David's Album is beautifully digitized, with a rich, detailed sound and vivid presence for all of the players, and contains exceptionally detailed annotation as well as two bonus tracks, "How Can I Miss You," featuring Joan and her sister Mimi in another duet, this time of a much more light-hearted nature, and "The Last Thing on My Mind" -- when Baez' voice raises on the line "I could have loved you better, didn't mean to be unkind," the effect is so beautiful that the hair on the back of your neck may stand up the first time you hear it. ~ Bruce Eder, All Music Guide
