    Referring to these bands as "Modern Rock Superstars" could be arguable since many of them were one hit wonders. Still, that doesn't change the fact that these alternative pop rockers of the 90's recorded memorable, hook filled songs, 15 of which are gathered on this Simitar collection, including "Hey Jealousy" Gin Blossoms, "Right Here, Right Now" Jesus Jones, "Life Is a Highway" Tom Cochrane, "What Girls Want" Material Issue and "Cat's in the Cradle" Ugly Kid Joe. There's no particular reason why this compilation exists, but the end result is enjoyable. ~ Al Campbell , All Music Guide
