All Music Guide Review

This 1999 album -- the group's seventh -- was a bit of a departure from their previous outings. Hooked up with producer George Massenburg (James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt), the group recorded this album primarily in Nashville and strove to present themselves in a more musically diverse context. In this regard, the album's largely a success, still utilizing the band's trademarked harmonies, powerful instrumentation and songwriting strengths throughout. Highlight tracks include "Movin' On," "Farewell to Lobacher," "Maybe You're Right," "Weddings, Wakes and Funerals" and the caustic "Long Way to Go." ~ Cub Koda, All Music Guide
