Take a listen to some of the hallmarks of My Children, My Bride's Unbreakable: moshtastic breakdowns, machine gun drumbeats, barely bipedal, knuckle-dragger riffing, and robust, communal singalongs. This type of music, with its full-bore aural assault, has reached its point of saturation, and My Children, My Bride aren't exactly smashing away at new ground, although one might argue that they smash away at their instruments like freshly thawed out cavemen! A lot of blood, sweat, piss, and spit undoubtedly went into writing and recording songs like "Faithless," "Headshot!," "The Machinist," and "On Wings Of Integrity," but if you want to indulge in and savor the cream of this style's crop, then Throwdown, Unearth, and Bleeding Through are making much higher impact records.
