Although it doesn't approach Cosmic Thing levels, "Revolution Earth" was one of the better singles pulled from Good Stuff. Like its Good Stuff brethren, "Revolution Earth" was released in a variety of incarnations. First, it was released as a promotional 12-inch single featuring three remixes -- "CO2 mix," "PPM Dub," "Vibe Tribe" -- by Moby, plus the original album version. It was also released as a promotional CD-5 single, featuring an edit of the "CO2 mix," plus the original album version and a single edit of the title track. Then, it was finally issued officially as a split single with "Is That You Mo-Dean?" All of three of Moby's remixes, plus the single edit, of "Revolution Earth" were on the single, along with three mixes -- "Interdimension mix," "Roots mix," "Harpapella" -- of "Is That You Mo-Dean?." This is the best bargain of the many "Revolution Earth" and "Is That You Mo-Dean?" singles, and probably the best of all the Good Stuff singles, primarily because the Moby mixes are first-rate. All the Moby mixes, plus the single edit, were also released on a European single, but the American CD-5 remains the best "Revolution Earth" bargain. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
