Unwritten Rules is competently made for its budget, and contains some fairly amusing set pieces. If there's a problem with the film, it's that Chiranand the director didn't rein in Chiranand the hammy actor. His character is so obnoxious and over-the-top that one wonders why any woman would give him the time of day, let alone become as obsessed with him as Alexis is presented as being.
